How to change your password

The password is changed in your account, in the "Settings" section. To change it you need to know your current password.

Where to find password change

Open your account → the "Settings" tab → the "Security" block → the "Password" row → the "Change" button.

How to change the password

  1. Click "Change".
  2. Enter your current password.
  3. Enter a new password — at least 6 characters.
  4. Click "Save". A "Password changed" confirmation appears.

If you only signed in with a code

Changing requires the current password. If you have never set one (you only signed in with a one-time code), there is nothing to change separately — the system will ask you to set a password automatically on your next sign-in with a code. After that you can sign in with it and change it right here.

What to do if you forgot your password

You can always sign in with a one-time email code — the "Sign in with code" tab on the sign-in page, no password needed. What to do next depends on your situation:

  • No password has been set yet. After signing in with a code the system will offer to set a password. Set a new one — and you will then be able to sign in with it.
  • A password was set but you forgot it. Sign in with a code to use your account, and email support at support@cmex.ai — we will help you restore access. A dedicated "Forgot password?" button will come later.

Two-factor protection

The "Security" section has a two-factor authentication item (an authenticator app) — it is marked "Soon" and does not work yet.
