Data Storage
For the Platform to work — we need to store some of your data. But we try to store only what is genuinely necessary and delete everything that is no longer needed. Below are the specific retention periods.
Biometric Data (Facial Photographs)
Photographs of your face uploaded for the face-swap function are stored for 30 calendar days from the date of last use. They exist only so that you can quickly repeat a face-swap with the same face without re-uploading the photo.
After 30 days, inactive photographs are automatically deleted. You may delete any saved face manually through your account at any time.
Biometric data is not used to identify you outside the Platform, is not applied to train external models, and is not transferred to third parties.
Generated Videos (Your Face-Swaps)
Finished videos created through the face-swap function are stored for 30 calendar days from the date of creation or the date of last view — whichever is later.
This means that as long as someone keeps opening the link to your video, the deletion timer keeps refreshing and the video stays alive. If no one watches the video for 30 days — it is deleted automatically.
CMEX.AI is not a long-term storage service — we are a tool for creating videos, not a cloud drive. If you want to keep a video forever, download it or share it on social media.
Shareable links to videos that you have sent to friends will stop working after the video is deleted.
Creator Video Templates
Video templates uploaded by Creators to the Platform are stored indefinitely, as long as the Creator does not remove them and their account remains active.
These are not "user content" in the sense of "the result of a face-swap" — they are the foundation of the Platform, without which Users could not perform face-swaps. Accordingly, the 30-day rule does not apply to them.
Account and Profile
Account data (email, username, profile information) is retained for as long as the account exists.
After account deletion, all related data — biometrics, videos, profile — is irreversibly removed within 30 calendar days.
Payment History
Information about purchases and payments is retained for no less than 7 years from the date of transaction — this is required by US tax and financial legislation. After account deletion, payment records are anonymized.
Technical Logs
Server technical logs (for error diagnostics and security) are retained for up to 90 days, after which they are automatically deleted or anonymized.
Support Communications
Correspondence with support is retained for 24 months from the date the inquiry is closed — in case of follow-up issues or disputes.
Deletion on Request
At any time you may request the deletion of any of your data before the periods stated above. Write to info@cmex.ai with the subject "Data Deletion Request." We will fulfill the request within 30 calendar days.
An exception applies to data that we are legally required to retain (payment history, tax documents) — such data may be anonymized but not fully deleted until the statutory retention period expires.
Future Changes
In the future, we may introduce long-term video storage as a paid feature. If this happens, we will inform you in advance. At present, the retention period is uniform — 30 days.

Technical Data Storage and Processing
The CMEX.AI platform is developed and maintained by FunnyMoney Media Inc. (Delaware, USA).
Technical development, software maintenance, infrastructure operations, and data processing and storage for the Platform are performed with the involvement of LLP AIT Factory (Republic of Kazakhstan), which serves as the developer and technical contractor of CMEX.AI.
FunnyMoney Media Inc. is the owner of the Platform and the data controller. LLP AIT Factory acts as a data processor and handles data solely to the extent necessary for the operation of the Platform, ensuring security, storing information, and providing services to users.
LLP AIT Factory does not use user data for its own purposes and is obligated to comply with the confidentiality, security, and personal data protection requirements established by FunnyMoney Media Inc. and applicable law.
