AI Ethics at CMEX.AI
Date of publication: June 6, 2026
Our Position
CMEX.AI works with technology that automatically replaces faces in videos. It is an engaging and entertaining technology — but also one that can cause harm. We understand this.
That is why we treat our platform not only as a product but as a responsibility. Below is what we do and what we refuse to do, so that the technology remains a tool for creativity rather than a weapon against people.
CMEX.AI is a software product developed and technically maintained by LLP AIT Factory (Republic of Kazakhstan) under contract with FunnyMoney Media Inc. (Delaware, USA). The development and deployment of artificial intelligence technologies are carried out under the supervision of LLP AIT Factory's technical team, in accordance with the principles of safety, confidentiality, and responsible AI use established by FunnyMoney Media Inc.
What We Will Never Allow
There are categories of content that cannot be justified by creative freedom or "technological curiosity." On CMEX.AI they are strictly and unconditionally prohibited, and violations result in immediate account termination without the possibility of restoration.
1. Sexualized content involving minors. No exceptions, no "artistic" justifications. Such content is reported to law enforcement authorities.
2. Non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII). Creating intimate or pornographic videos featuring a real person without their explicit consent. Any "revenge against an ex," "prank on a classmate," or "fantasy about a celebrity" is NCII.
3. Impersonation without consent. Creating videos imitating real persons — politicians, journalists, celebrities, private individuals — for the purpose of deception, spreading false statements on their behalf, fraud, or political manipulation.
4. Disinformation and fraud. Using our tools to create "evidence" of things that never happened; to forge speeches, confessions, or statements; or to commit financial or social fraud.
5. Harassment, bullying, discrimination. Creating content that degrades a person or group based on race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, nationality, or any other characteristic.
6. Content promoting violence, extremism, terrorism, or drugs.
These are not "recommendations" or "preferences." These are boundaries beyond which the platform stops working with the user.
Consent — Our Core Principle
Face-swap technology is meaningless without the consent of two parties: the person whose face is inserted, and the person in whose video it is inserted.
From Users, we require uploading only their own face. If a User uploads someone else's image, they do so at their own responsibility and must hold explicit consent from the depicted person. When violations are detected, the account is blocked.
From Creators uploading video templates, we require confirmation that all faces appearing in the video are either their own, or that all participants have given consent to use their image in face-swap technologies. This is not a formality but a legal condition of cooperation.
Content Moderation
We operate a multi-layered review system:
Automated moderation. Every uploaded template and every rendered video passes through automated classifiers that look for signs of prohibited content (explicitly sexual scenes, violence, clear violations). Suspicious material is blocked or sent for manual review.
Human review. User complaints are reviewed by moderators. If a complaint is substantiated, the content is removed and the violator faces consequences.
Continuous improvement. Moderation algorithms evolve as new threats emerge. We observe how our technology is being used and adapt our rules accordingly.
Perfect moderation does not exist — but we take it seriously and respond to complaints.
Transparency
All videos created on CMEX.AI are the product of artificial intelligence algorithms. We do not attempt to hide this fact and do not disguise AI-generated content as "authentic" footage.
We do not provide our technology to third parties for use outside our moderation framework, and we do not offer API access without verifying the intended purpose.
Biometric Data
A person's face is a special category of personal data. We process such data exclusively to deliver the service (performing face-swap on the selected video) and do not use it for:
- identifying the User outside the Platform;
- training commercial face-identification models;
- transferring it to third parties for marketing, advertising, or any other purposes unrelated to the Platform's operation.
Any user may delete their biometric data at any time through their account. Details are provided in our Privacy Policy.
Complaints and the Right to Removal
If you have discovered a video on CMEX.AI featuring your image that you did not consent to — please contact us at info@cmex.ai. We will review the complaint within a reasonable time and, if confirmed, remove the material.
If your face was used without consent in content created on the Platform and subsequently published elsewhere (on social media or other websites), we are willing to cooperate with you and law enforcement authorities to document the incident.
Platform Development and Principles Updates
AI technologies and their applications evolve rapidly. New risks emerge — as do new ways to defend against them. We intend to keep developing CMEX.AI's safety system, adding automated checks, and responding to new forms of abuse.

Responsible AI Development
We believe that the development of artificial intelligence should bring people more creativity, opportunity, and positive emotion — not new risks and threats.
In developing CMEX.AI, we adhere to the following principles:
- the human being always bears responsibility for the content they create using the platform;
- artificial intelligence technologies should expand human creative capabilities, not replace human will and judgment;
- user safety and the protection of personal data take priority over the speed of rolling out new features;
- every new AI tool undergoes internal risk assessment before being released to users;
- we strive to create technologies that make the internet a more positive, creative, and safe space.
Our long-term goal is to develop an international ecosystem of digital humor and entertainment content, in which artificial intelligence helps people create, share, and monetize their work in a responsible and ethical manner.
Responsible Use of Technology
The Company continuously improves mechanisms for detecting abuse, including automated moderation, systems for detecting copyright infringement, fraud, non-consensual use of imagery, and other forms of misuse of artificial intelligence technologies.
The Company reserves the right to restrict the use of specific Platform features where necessary to ensure user safety and compliance with applicable law.
