Cookies Policy of CMEX.AI

Effective Date: June 6, 2026 Last Updated: June 6, 2026

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device (computer, smartphone, tablet) through your browser. They help the website remember you and your actions across visits — for example, that you are logged in, which language you selected, or which theme you prefer.

Without cookies, websites would work much worse — you would have to log in again with every page transition, and the platform would not be able to remember your preferences.

2. Which Cookies We Use

We use several categories of cookies, each with its own purpose.

2.1. Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies are required for the basic operation of the Platform. Without them, you cannot log into your account, pay for purchases, or use face-swap functions. These cookies are always set and do not require separate consent.

Examples:

  • session identifier (keeps you logged in);
  • security token (protection against forged requests);
  • technical settings (selected interface language, light/dark theme).

2.2. Functional Cookies

These cookies improve the convenience of using the Platform. They remember your preferences and settings.

Examples:

  • saved language choice after manual switching;
  • interface display preferences;
  • expanded/collapsed state of blocks.

2.3. Analytics Cookies

These cookies help us understand how users interact with the Platform: which pages are visited most often, where problems occur. The data is collected in an anonymized form and used to improve the service.

Analytics cookies do not identify you personally and are not linked to your biometric data or account contents.

2.4. Third-Party Cookies

When paying through payment providers (Stripe, Payoneer) or using Google sign-in, these services may set their own cookies. These cookies are governed by the policies of those services:

  • Stripe: https://stripe.com/cookies-policy/legal
  • Google: https://policies.google.com/technologies/cookies
  • Payoneer: https://www.payoneer.com/legal/privacy-policy

3. How Long Cookies Are Stored

Session cookies are deleted automatically when you close your browser — these are usually technical cookies supporting your session.

Persistent cookies remain on your device for a specified period (typically from 30 days to 1 year). They are used to remember your preferences between visits.

Specific retention periods depend on the type of cookie and can be reviewed via your browser's developer tools.

4. Managing Cookies

4.1. Through Browser Settings

All modern browsers allow you to manage cookies: block them entirely, delete existing ones, or configure behavior for specific websites. Instructions for popular browsers:

  • Chrome: chrome://settings/cookies
  • Firefox: about:preferences#privacy
  • Safari: Settings → Privacy
  • Edge: edge://settings/content/cookies

4.2. Consequences of Disabling Cookies

If you block strictly necessary cookies, the Platform will not function correctly: you will not be able to log into your account, pay for purchases, or use core features.

Disabling functional and analytics cookies will not prevent the Platform from working, but may degrade your user experience (for example, your settings may be lost between visits).

5. Cookies and Biometric Data

Biometric data (facial photographs) is not stored in cookies. It is stored in encrypted form on our servers and is associated with your account separately. See our Privacy Policy for details.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookies Policy as technologies or legislation evolve. The current version is always available at cmex.ai. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the document.
