Refunds

If something went wrong with a payment, write to us. Here is how to request a refund, what you need for it, and when a refund is possible.

How payment works

On CMEX.AI you purchase credits — the internal currency of the platform. You use credits to pay for face swaps. Payments are processed through a secure payment service; CMEX.AI does not store your card details.

How to request a refund

There is no automatic refund button on the site — we review each case individually. There are two ways to reach us:

  1. Through the «Support» tab in your personal account — write to us, and we'll help with your issue.
  2. By email at info@cmex.ai — if you want to request a refund directly.

When contacting us by email, please include:

  1. the email address your account is registered to;
  2. the date and amount of the payment;
  3. the reason for your request — what exactly went wrong.

Use «Refund Request» as the subject line — this way your request will reach the right specialist faster.

When a refund is possible

We try to resolve issues fairly. A refund is generally possible if:

  • the money was charged but credits were not added to your balance;
  • a technical error occurred through no fault of yours, and the face swap was not created.

It's more complicated with credits that have already been spent: a face swap is a digital service performed immediately, so credits spent on completed videos are usually non-refundable. However, if the result was unsatisfactory due to a service error — please contact us, we'll figure it out.

Each case is reviewed individually, and we do our best not to disappoint our customers.

Review timeframe

We review every request and reply to the email address you provided.

If a refund is approved:

  • money is returned via the same method used for the payment — the time it takes to appear depends on your bank;
  • credits are returned to your personal balance in your account within one day after contacting support.

Will unspent credits expire

No. Credits in your balance have no expiration date and do not expire — you can use them whenever you want. There's a separate article on this.
